How to get IELTS Results from test centre?

The other method to avail the IELTS result 2021 from the test centre. The steps to check IELTS Test scores from the test centre are

• Candidates must get in touch with the exam centre where they wrote IELTS 2021.

• They should show the identity document used by them during registration of IELTS test

• They will also have to cite their candidate number allotted to them.

• Candidates who have arranged to pick the result up in person from the test centre cannot request for the result over mail or sms.

IELTS Results - How Scores are calculated

The scores mentioned in the IDP IELTS result is based on the scores given for each test component namely Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. These individual scores are then averaged. IELTS 2021 Results - Band Scores

It is to be noted that there is nothing like a IELTS qualifying score. IELTS results are reported on a 9-band scale and designed to be simple so that candidates find it easy to understand. Scores as per IDP IELTS results are reported from 1 which is the lowest score to 9 which is the highest.

TEST REPORT FORM (TRF)

What is the Test Report Form (TRF)? It provides the individual and overall band scores of the candidates who have appeared for the IELTS exam. The IELTS 2021 TRF will be valid for 2 years. The Test Report Forms (TRF) are available as follows

IELTS Personal Test Report Form

This is the result of IELTS received by the candidates. The Test Form Report also known as TRF contains the individual and overall band scores. One copy of the test report form is provided to each candidate and this should be kept safe. The IELTS TRF will be sent to candidates through courier or speed post within 10 days from the result declaration day. Candidates will be provided the shipment tracking number on their registered mobile number to track the delivery of the same.

IELTS Test Report Forms for Institutions

Five institutions listed by the candidate in their IELTS application form will receive copies of TRF. No extra charges are levied for sending the IELTS result to these five colleges/universities. Candidates can pay and request for additional TRFs to be sent to the university or institutes anytime within two years.

How to Send IELTS scores to Universities?

Candidate's are permitted to send the soft copies of their IELTS test result scores to five universities of their choice, without any cost. Candidates choose for their preference of universities at the time of registration for International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

Step 1: When registering for the exam, candidates will be given an option to choose five institutions to send their IELTS results to.

Step 2: They are required to fill in the details of the institutions if they opt for the same.

Step 3: The IELTS results will be sent to the chosen universities.

Step 4: Candidates can also opt to send hard copies of their IDP IELTS result to more than 5 institutes by paying an additional charge for each additional college as specified by the authorities.

Step 5: To send their TRF via courier to international destinations, candidates will also be required to pay the courier charges in addition. If required, candidates can also attach their TRF / IELTS result 2021 to the university application form.

Re-taking IELTS Exam

The council does not restrict the candidates on the number of times they appear for IELTS test. If a candidate is not satisfied with the score received in IELTS results 2021, he/she can appear for the exam again for as long as required score is not achieved. IELTS eligibility criteria 2021 is not specified, so, the selection procedure for IELTS depends on the institution the candidate wishes to apply to.

Steps for Re-Marking of IELTS result

Candidates who wish to apply for re-marking of their IELTS test results need to apply at the centre where they booked your test within six weeks of their test date. They are allowed to choose the sections of the IELTS test they wish to get re-marked. It is to be noted that they will need to pay a nominal fee for an enquiry on IELTS 2021 test results. This fee will be refunded in case the re-marking shows a IELTS score increase for any section of the test. The IDP IELTS result after re-marking will be available in 2-21 days from the date of application. This is dependent on several factors like the number of sections requested for re-marking etc.
